Herbert Paul Ristow Jr. passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 81. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on July 24, 1930 to Herbert and Flora Del (Shotwell) Ristow.

Following graduation from high school, he attended college for two years. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on October 23, 1950 and was honorably discharged on December 10, 1953, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Herb moved to Lake Havasu City in 1977 and worked as a general foreman for the McCulloch Corporation for eleven years. Herb was a warm and gentle man who loved the outdoors. He was an avid tennis player, enjoyed water skiing, hiking and traveling with his wife, Donna. He was also a high school football official.

Herb is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Donna and his sister Diane Post of Easton, MD. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Ristow.
