DANNY EUGENE SAMPSON
Danny Eugene Sampson passed away November 14, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 62. He was born October 27, 1951 in Lynwood, CA to Laborn Eugene Sampson and Ermanee (Prentice).
Danny enlisted in the Army in Feb 1970 serving until being wounded in action and later being Honorably Discharged in Oct 1971. He worked 32 yrs. for Stater Bros. Markets in CA, retiring as a store manager in 2006. He and his wife shared over 40 wonderful years together. Danny enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing off his kayak and spending time with his grandchildren. Danny loved life and his family. He will be greatly missed and our lives will never be full without him.
Danny is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary Sampson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughters Elizabeth Madsen of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Karen Brossia and her husband Brett of Highland, CA; 7 grandchildren and his four-legged best friends, Black Jack, Princess Sophie and William, that he treasured and loved very much. He is preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Karen. Donations can be made in Danny’s name to Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu, PO Box 331, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
