ALICE GERMAINE BARIBEAULT
Alice Germaine Baribeault away February 13, 2014 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 84. She was born December 13, 1929 in Lowell, MA to Francois and Melina (Soucy) Gagnon. Alice was pre-deceased by her husband, Ernest, in March of 2012. Together, they became residents of Lake Havasu 39 years ago, and owned and operated Havasu Interiors for twenty years, until their retirement. Alice was a gifted artist as a seamstress with an eye for design concepts, and the uncanny ability to produce art through fabric. With Ernie’s detailed craftsman skills, they were able to create, install, and display the bounty from their hands in homes and windows all over the city. They also operated Nu-Look Slipcover, a thriving custom business in Lowell, prior to 1975. Alice is survived by her loving family. Her two sons, Mark Baribeault, and his wife Judy; and Paul Baribeault, and his wife Sandy, both of Lake Havasu City. Her daughter Renee Epple (LHHS 1981) of Santa Monica, CA, and husband Doug. Her granddaughters, Michelle, Melina, Georgie, and Daisy. Her great granddaughter, Harper. Her brother Emile Gagnon of Summerlin, NV. and her sister Lucille Poudrier of East Hampton, CT. A service will be planned for sometime in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu at 365 S. Lake Havasu Avenue P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
