Betty Zickefoose passed away on July 5, 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on July 14, 1926 in Smallwood, MD.Betty married Kermit Zickefoose, and they moved to Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, where she retired from civil services as an executive secretary. Betty has been a resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ; for 29 years. She enjoyed making quilts, cooking, gambling and visits from her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her daughters; Brenda Perry of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Linda Ranes and husband Tom of Long Beach, CA; and granddaughters; Erika Kobagashi of Anaheim, CA; and Jessica Ranes of Long Beach, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband Kermit on October 8, 2002.Viewing will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m. with Rev Carol Sheffield officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Betty’s name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
